Quality Indicators (Medical/Surgical/Radiation):

  1. Patients diagnosed with renal cell cancer have the following prognostic factors evaluated and dictated in their chart.  (Medical)     
    1. LDH level
    2. Hemoglobin level
    3. Corrected serum calcium level
    4. Interval from original diagnosis to the start of systemic therapy
    5. KPS
    6. Metastasis
  2. Pelvic lymph node dissection performed during radical cystectomy.  (Surgical)
  3. TNM staging completed for surgical cases.  (Surgical)
  4. The following tests are performed pre and post radiation therapy in prostate cancer patients.  (Radiation)
    1. PSA level
    2. IPS score
    3. Erectile function index

All Patients

  1. All patients with solid tumors are staged according to ACoS standards.
  2. All patients who are receiving chemotherapy have a plan documented prior to administration of therapy.
